Finding Ease and Flow – Gentle
We live in a world where we are pulled to do more, get more, go faster. Like being in a car with a stuck gas pedal, we can find ourselves stuck in a cycle of rushing and disconnection from what matters most to us. This class is designed to support us in regaining our sense of ease and flow so that we can experience deep connectedness and rest. Through the embodied practices of āsānas (postures), prānāyāma (breath control/practices) and Yoga Nidra (deep rest), we bring mindful awareness to areas of tension and stress, noticing how we are holding onto tension, and learning to let go. This class is designed to be welcoming and accessible to all.

Ann, she/her, 200-RYT first began exploring practices as a young girl, naturally moving into what she later learned were yoga postures (āsāna). Seeking deeper connection with her South Indian ancestors, she continued her studies with yoga and meditation, completing her first yoga teacher training in 1994. She is currently completing an additional 300-hour with Shraddhā Yoga Teacher Training. Ann writes, “To me, it is vital that I teach what lives and grows in me and is integrated through my life. So, what I offer is my expression of these beautiful practices and I would love to share this with you!” Ann also enjoys hiking in the woods with her dogs, painting, singing, meditating, and working at a local community health clinic where she has been a psychotherapist for nearly 25 years.
